Ethelene Dawson

Ethelene Dawson, 91, of Conway formerly of Rector passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Heritage Living Center in Conway. She was born on February 5, 1923 in Rector to the late Obie and Harriet (Moore) Ward. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mayflower, Arkansas and was a housewife. Ethelene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Earl Dawson; one daughter: Brenda Dawson; and one sister: Glenda Ward Ort. She is survived by her three sons: Delbert and wife Sue of Mayflower, Arkansas, Curt and wife Donna of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Ricky and wife Pamela of Perry, Arkansas; two brothers: Gerald Ward of Johnston, Iowa, Melvin Ward of Barling, Arkansas; one sister: Bonnie Neely of Dade City, Florida; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 beginning at 1 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with funeral services following at 2 p.m. with Bro. Robert Moore and David Fox officiating. Interment will be held at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
