Elizabeth J. "Bette" Andersen

ELIZABETH J. "BETH" ANDERSEN, 95, of North Little Rock died Oct. 10, 2014 at Hospice Home Care Inpatient Center in Little Rock. Graveside services will be held in the gazebo at Rest Hills Memorial in North Little Rock on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12:30 in the gazebo. Bette was born in Rockford, Ill. to Marion and Frank Shaw. She lived in Rockford, where she married and started a family before moving to North Little Rock in the 1950s. Bette retired as a sales associate with M.M. Cohn in 2000, where she had been employed for over 30 years. Most recently, she was a resident at Good Shepherd Assisted Living in Little Rock. Bette was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Lee Andersen; her parents, Frank and Marion Shaw of Rockford, Ill. and a brother, Robert Shaw of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Shipman (Harold) of Bartlett, Tenn. and son, Bradley Andersen (Diane) of North Little Rock; grandsons, Brian Shipman (LaCarol) of Lakeland, Tenn. and Nicholas Andersen of Sherwood, Ark. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Brian Shipman Jr. and Alex Shipman, both of Lakeland, Tenn., and Blake Andersen of Benton, Ark.
