MILDRED JEAN POE KILGORE, 89, of Maumelle passed away Friday, Oct. 10, 2014. She was born in Jeffersonville, Ind. on July 23, 1925 to Charles and Willie (Gilion) Poe. She was of the Catholic Faith and volunteered at the Benton and Bryant Senior Activity Centers.
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Margaret Ann "Maggie" Anderson (David); grandchildren, Michael Anderson (Frank), Thomas Anderson (Christy), Cheryl Saccocia (Dave), Dael Usery; five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Kilgore; granddaughter, Danielle Anderson Turner; two sisters, Margaret Dobson and Sara Talbert.
A memorial reception and service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, with the reception beginning at 10 a.m., followed by the memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 501-758-1170.
