Don E. Morey

Don E. Morey of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with his Savior on Oct. 13 2014. Born April 15, 1928 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Jack and Sadye Morey. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Mark Steven Morey and brother J. Kenneth Morey. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, who was the love of his life, Dorothy Cunning Morey; son, Michael (Charlotte) Morey; daughter, Donna Morey; grandsons, Scott and Steven (Vicky) Morey and great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Hannah. He was a lifetime active member of the United Methodist Church serving in many positions and was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Don was a loving, devoted son, husband and father. He was active and supportive in all interest of his children and grandsons. Don fought the good fight with Alzheimer's Disease for over nine years. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at the Briarwood Nursing Center, who cared for him 6 1/2 years.
