Helen Ray Passmore 93, of Clinton, Arkansas passed away peacefully with family at her side on Sunday, October 12, 2014, at the Ozark Health Nursing Home. Helen was born December 3, 1920 in Rock Springs, Arkansas to Ruben H. and Eva Lee (Martindale) Ragland. She was the happiest when her family gathered together. She loved to cook for anyone that came by or made sure they didn't leave emptied handed. One of her greatest joys was going to the river to fish and countless trips to their farm in Leslie to tend the cows. She was always ready for a good game of dominos and did not like to lose. Rain, sleet or snow wouldn't keep her from a good yard sale. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Clifton "Jode" Passmore, two sons, Eddie Charles Passmore and Joe Dale Passmore and one great-grandson, Justin Daniel Palazzo. Helen is survived by her children, Bill Passmore and his wife Sylvia, Patsy Burkett and her husband James, Judy Horner, Maurice Passmore and his wife Memory; grandchildren, Julie Vanin, Marsha Jones, Stephanie Brown, Martin Horner, Tina Jones, Jennifer Horner, and Tara Passmore. She had eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers: Phillip Henderson, Phillip Jones, Bill Brown, Martin Horner, Gerald Watts and Danny Boone. The family would like to express their gratitude to her caregivers at Ozark Heath Nursing Home for the compassionate and loving care given to our mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held from 1–2 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home. The Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at Bradley Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas. Online guest book: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
