Fay McArthur Brown, 75, of Lonoke, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. She was born March 26, 1939 in Clarendon, Arkansas. Mrs. Brown was retired from a variety of occupations, from operating a café in DeValls Bluff with her mother to being a long time assistant to Dr. B.E. Holmes in Lonoke. She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing and spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jess Brown, III and brother, Doug McArthur. She is survived by son, Alan Jamison of Fayetteville, Ark.; daughter, Beth Ernst of North Little Rock, Ark.; son, Joe Daniels of Lonoke, Ark.; sister, Freida Sims of North Little Rock, Ark.; sister, Kathy French of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother, James McArthur of Wimberley, Texaa; grandson, Jon Jamison of Springdale. Ark. and granddaughter, Cristy Daniels of Lonoke, Ark. Mrs. Brown is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Brownsville Baptist Church, Lonoke Ark. with burial at Brownsville Cemetery.
