Leta Pearl Fisher Perry, 86, of Hazen, was born Aug. 12, 1928 and went to her eternal home in Heaven on Aug. 29, 2014. Leta was born to Harrison and Mary Goacher Fisher and was raised by her mother and step-father, George Vail Sr. after Harrison's untimely passing. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Rev. Charlie Perry, with whom she had been married to for 62 years prior to his passing in 2009, and also by her brothers, Gene Vail and George Vail, Jr. "Mamaw" Leta is survived by her sons, Danny (Dolores) Perry of Ward, Dale (Sara) Perry of Hazen and Albert Perry of Hazen; grandchildren, David Perry, Matt (Wendy) Perry and Emily (Scott) White; great-grandchildren, Kade, Mary Katherine, Mattie and Kami Perry and Emma White; step-grandchildren, Tania (Huey) Bush and Jamie (Annette) Felts; step-great-grandchildren, Kayla (James) Riley, Ariel (Kelly) Moore and Colton Felts; step-great-great-grandchildren, Keelan Riley and Kaleb Moore. She is also survived by her sister, Frances White of Stuttgart; brother, Edward (Helen) Vail of Stuttgart, sisters-in-law, Margie Vail of Stuttgart, Lucille Vail of Hazen; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own children. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, 2014 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Hazen followed by a burial service at the Center Point Cemetery. Arrangements are by Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen.
