Alan Eric Duggie

Alan Eric Duggie, 79, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014. Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, November 11, 1934, he lived the last 37 years of his life in Jacksonville. Alan was a cheerful man who enjoyed photography, shooting and was fluent in reading, writing and speaking Japanese. He retired from the US Air Force in 1976. Thirteen years of his service was spent in Japan in the 1956 Communications Group. In between and after his military service he served with the Los Angeles and Pulaski County Police Departments. Alan was extremely proud of his family. He is survived by his wife Ronda (Douthwright); children, Diana (Weimer), David and Matthew; and grandchildren, Christopher Weimer, Kathleen Weimer, Trinity Duggie and Gabriel Duggie.
