John Bruce Wilson

Dr. John Bruce Wilson, 87, of Clarksville, Tenn. passed from this life September 9, 2014. Visitation will be held at Neal-Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home in Clarksville, Tenn. on September 13th at 10-12 noon, followed by the service. Burial will be 1 p.m., September 14th, 2014 at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville, Ark. with Cobb Funeral Home presiding. Bruce Wilson was born July 2nd, 1927 in Berryville, Ark. to the late Bennett Bascom (B.B.) and Willie (Tinin) Wilson. Preceded in death by a sister, Mary Emily Wilson and a brother, Bennett Bascom (Dick) Wilson Jr., Bruce is survived by his five children, Deborah L. French (Al) of North Little Rock, Ark., Meredith Emily Wilson Lounge (Bob) of Oklahoma City, Okla., Valerie D. Keating (Neal) of Cabot, Ark., John Bruce Wilson, Jr. and Bennett G. Scott Wilson of Clarksville, Tenn. He is survived by four grandchildren, Lisa Gannon (Ed), of Green Bay, Wis., Jason French (Jennifer) of North Little Rock, Ark., Brad Keating of Tallahassee, Fla., and Kira Godinet of Denver, Colo. and three nieces, and one nephew.
