Marjorie Sharp Remmel

Marjorie Sharp Remmel, 88, of Little Rock passed away on April 28, 2015. Born on September 24, 1926 she became the youngest of six children to Robert Leon Sharp and Marie Wright Sharp. Marjorie was a 1944 graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy and a member of Holy Souls Catholic Church. As a life-long dedicated wife and mother, she raised five children in a loving home. She took great pride in her family and, much to their chagrin, never missed an opportunity to boast about her children and grandchildren. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Remmel Jr.; and her siblings, Marie Sharp, Robert Sharp, Warner Sharp, Catherine Sharp Wortsmith, Marshall Sharp. She is survived by her children, Marie Remmel Sims, Margaret Remmel Drangle, Laura Lee Remmel, Kathleen Remmel, Paul Remmel III; grandchildren, Christopher Drangle, Stephanie Drangle; and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at The Manor Assisted Living and Briarwood Nursing & Rehab Center for their loving care and devotion. A visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
