Bella Marie Copas

"Sweet little flower of Heavenly birth, you were too fair to bloom on earth." – Author unknown. Infant Bella Marie Copas passed away from anencephaly Friday, August 14, 2015, at Little Rock's UAMS Hospital. Bella is the daughter with the wings of an angel of Chelsey Breanne Copas and Austin Randall Story. Though now in the loving arms of Jesus, when Chelsey was pregnant Bella gave her mother encouraging nudges with her perfect feet and was most excited when she sang worship songs. And while we may not have seen Bella open her eyes or smile, we know she is doing that now in Heaven, and it is precious. She is survived by her parents, as well as grandparents Scott and Shayla Copas of Little Rock and Randall and Melinda Story of Searcy. The family is grateful to the many friends and prayer warriors surrounding them with love and faith, especially those in the hospital room at Bella's birth. Special thanks, too, to Dr. Wendel and Dr. Peeples, the dedicated, caring UAMS staff, Dorcas VanGilst, Reverend Betsy Singleton and Arora's Dr. Cameron. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1101 N. Mississippi St., Little Rock, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. Memorials may be made to "Be Not Afraid" at www.BeNotAfraid.net or to Trinity United Methodist Church, 1101 N.
