Rhonda Smith

Rhonda Smith, 79, died Saturday, December 12, 2015, at The Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado, Ark. She was born December 30, 1935, in Malden, Mo., to the late Morris and Josie Taylor. Rhonda graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1954. On March 3, 1955 she was united in marriage to Jimmie Smith of Malden, Mo., in the Air Force Base Chapel, Miami International Airport, Miami, Fla. She leaves behind her husband of 60 years Jimmie Smith; sons John (Blanca) Smith, Nolanville, Texas; Wesley (Becky) Smith, Roanoke, Texas; daughter Kathy (Louis) Brolo, El Dorado, Ark.; brother Morris Taylor, Heber Springs, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Elizabeth Asbury; Jason, Tyler and Katie Brolo; Shannon Keenom; Jordan Smith; Nichole Morrow; Kira Rameriz; and 12 great-grandchildren. Her strong faith in Our Lord and Savior exemplified the manner in which she led her life. She was devoted to her church family. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
