Freddy Wayne Moody
Freddy Wayne Moody, 74, of Bradford, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 31, 2015. He was born September 19, 1940 in Mountain Grove, Missouri a son of the late Charles and Nellie Cronck Moody. He was a retired machine operator for Union Pacific Railroad. Freddy had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Brinkley prior to moving to Bradford. He is a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in the Dripping Springs Community.
He is survived by a son, Wayne Moody of Bradford; daughters, Marcia Moody Pressler (Jim) of Searcy and Melissa Moody Freeman (Dewayne) of Kensett; sister, Mary Lou Quinn of Coloma, Michigan; grandchildren, Donna Pressler Neal (Michael), Danielle Wade North (Heath), Zackery Wade and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia; daughter, Wanda; grandson, Christopher Pressler.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. A celebration of Freddy's life will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Newnum officiating, Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Brinkley. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
