Theresa Sumey

Theresa "Granny" Christina Sumey, 67, of Pea Ridge, died Wednesday, February 18 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. She was born February 21, 1947 in Green County, Pennsylvania to Carl Santucci and Berneice Crawford. She worked fifteen years at Tyson Chicken Quick in Rogers as a Lab Technician. She loved gardening, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband William "Pap" Sumey in 2007; a brother, Raymond "BooBoo" Lancaster; two sisters, Jeanne Lancaster and Sylvia Herron. Survivors are a daughter, Rhonda Voytek and husband Rick of Pea Ridge; four brothers, Billy Lancaster of Rogers, Patrick Lancaster and wife Cindy of Colorado, Carl Noschese and wife Lora of Rogers, Shawn Lancaster of Pea Ridge; two sisters, Martha Lancaster of Pea Ridge, Cynde Lancaster Spillman and husband Rick of Pea Ridge; two granddaughters, Laura Worley and husband Gabe, and Heather Voytek; two great-granddaughters, Brianna and Destiny Worley and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 22 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sisco Funeral Home, P.O. Box 54, Pea Ridge, Ark. 72751.
