Agnes Marie Stedman Forrest

Agnes Marie Stedman Forrest, age 94, of Hermitage, died Saturday, Feb. 21 at Chapel Woods Nursing Center. She was born Aug. 2, 1920 in Bradley County, Ark., daughter of the late Van Stedman and Blanche Ashcraft Stedman. She was a housewife and homemaker, a member of Martins Chapel United Methodist Church and the widow of James Luke Forrest, who she married Dec. 25, 1940 and he died March 1, 1985. A brother, Ray Van Stedman and a sister, Juanita Kinard also preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, James Ray Forrest and spouse Vicki, Bella Vista, Ark. and Jerry Don Forrest and spouse Fay, Hermitage, Ark.; a daughter, Judy Kay Moore and spouse Jerry, Warren, Ark.; six grandchildren Alan Forrest, Lottie Secker, Michael Forrest, Steven Forrest, Vonda Russell and Melissa Scott; 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25 at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Smyrna Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation: 6 till 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24 at Frazer's.
