Blanche Elmore

Blanche Elmore, 93, of Johnson, Ark., passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015 at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Ark. She was born on May 10, 1921 in Nolan County, Texas, a daughter of Cecil Edward Barry and Georgia (Boyette) Barry. Blanche graduated from Texas Tech with her Bachelor in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse, retiring from the Veteran's Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark. She enjoyed painting, creating quilts, crocheting, working in the garden and canning. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, David Truman Elmore; a grandchild, Jamie Lynn Elliott; one great-grandchild, Kayla Ann Wynboom; and two brothers, Ira H. Barry and Jack E. Barry. Blanche is survived by her three daughters, Dianne Elliott and husband JH of Springdale, Ark., Constance "Connie" Miller of Goshen, Ark., and Susan Saia and husband Joe of Sheridan, Ark.; three grandchildren, Ginger Wynboom of Johnson, David R. Miller and wife Quinlan of Humble, Texas and Renee Newman and husband Aaron of Fayetteville, Ark.; five great-grandchildren, Sasha Marie Groves and husband Charles, Dustin David Wynboom all of Springdale, Ark., Kersten Sherrae Elliott, Dakota Chase Newman and Dalton Wayne Newman all of Fayetteville, Ark.; one great-great-grandchild, Kayla Leona Wynboom of Wheeler, Ark..
