HORACE KELLEY SR. of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015. He was born to C.W. Charlie Willard and Betty Jean Earls Kelley on Nov. 19, 1959 in Pulaski County, Ark. Horace worked for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette for 43 years, was owner of C & H Hauling for 12 years and of Kelley's for 30 years. He was a member of Levy United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Elks and Moose. Horace loved his wife, hunting, four-wheel riding, traveling, spending time with family and friends and his wife most of all. Horace is preceded in death by both parents and grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Nan Kelley; three sons, Justin Kelley of North Little Rock, Horace Kelley Jr. of North Little Rock, Chris Kelley of Little Rock; three daughters, Brittany Tanner of Jacksonville, Ashley Jo Kelley of Glouster Point, Va., Jessica Tanner of North Little Rock; one grandchild, Carmen Monroe Ray; his twin sister, Hilda Cochran (Kirby) of North Little Rock; two brothers, Chuck Kelley of North Little Rock, Kevin Kelley of North Little Rock; lifelong friends, Chuck Johnson and Dale Hammonds and his special friends, the G.O. Daniels Hunting Club. Funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. (501-791-7400).
