Margaret Elizabeth Coats Rucker, lovingly called "Nannie" or "Margie" by many, died peacefully while surrounded by family, on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in the home of her eldest daughter in Fort Worth, Texas. Margaret was born on January 16, 1925 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, George Henry and Addie Pet Coats, three sisters: Tabitha Bernice Coats, Allie Carroll, and Floy Jean Kelly; infant grandson, Luke Andrew Biggs, brother-in-law, James Kelly, and son-in-law, John Harvey. She is survived by her children: Toni Harvey, Gail Biggs, and Randy (Theresa) Rucker; grandchildren: Allison (Bill) Haggerty, Sarah (Gary) Barker, Jessica (Jacob) Schwegel, Lee (Tosha) Biggs IV, Morgan Biggs, Nathan (Anna) Rucker, Melanie (Michael) Caffee, and Abigail Rucker; great-grandchildren: Isabella and Winston Biggs; Micah, Haven and Stone Barker; Finley, Lincoln and Beckett Schwegal; Lucy Kate and Emmeline Rucker; nieces: June (Jim) Parsley and Jean (Joe) Zehler; and great niece, Karen (Cedric) McDowell; and great great nephew: Devin McDowell. Her extended family includes step-granddaughters and their families: Pattie Harvey, Brenda Robbins, Mary (Leonard) Wendt, Sarah Harvey, and Michelle (Chris) Oles; step-grandchildren: John, Jake, and Jaci Wendt; Carolann (Robert) Grimes, Melissa and Megan Robbins; Madeline, Michael, and Catherine Oles; and step-great-granddaughters, Lindsey and Miranda Grimes. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 5th at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Calmer, Arkansas at 11 a.m., with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join us at the Hampton Inn of Pine Bluff for a Celebration of Life gathering following the services. Honorary Pallbearers are: Bob, Jerald, and Mike Norton; Don Berry, Lee A. Biggs III, Lee A. Biggs IV, Nathan Rucker, Bill Haggerty, Winston Biggs, and the late James Kelly. The Arrangement Shoppe (870-325-6235) is the suggested florist or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friendship Cemetery in Calmer, Ark.
