Joyce Dorsey

Joyce J. Dorsey, age 83 of Sherwood, passed away May 31, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock. She was born on July 6, 1931 in McKinney, Texas and she was the daughter of Elmer and Ona Agan. Joyce was an ordained minister for 54 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God in North Little Rock, Ark. and enjoyed puzzles, reading, volunteering at church and the hospital & telling people about the Lord He/She is preceded in death by her father, mother, sister – Ruth, and three grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Robert Dorsey, a sister Doris Gilbert, daughter, Verna Davis & her husband Barry Davis, daughter, Joy Haynes & her husband Bill Haynes, son, Kane Dorsey & his wife Kristy Dorsey, and grandsons, Weston and Garrett Dorsey. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, June 3, 2015at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock, Ark. Arrangements are by Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
