Katrina Ann Dye

Katrina Ann Dye, 48, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away June 13, 2015. She was born May 31, 1967, in Lubbock, Texas, to Harold and Cookie (Gaule) Noland. Katrina was a devoted mother and wife of 24 years with a true servant's heart, who should be remembered as one who prayed and cared for others, continuously. She was passionate about running and motivated others to participate as a member of the Spa Pacers Running Club and the Women Can Run Clinic. She enjoyed teaching and mentoring young students at Lakeside School District. In her free time, she listened to 80's music and read a good book in her hammock with a Sonic Happy Hour drink. She is survived by her parents; husband, Franklin Dye; daughters, Elizabeth Alexandria and Alison Juliette; sister, Michelle Trenum (wife of Gil); aunt, uncle, many cousins; and one mischievous cat, Pandora, who all loved Katrina. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Crossgate Church. Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Crossgate Church with Pastor Shawn Barnard officiating. Pallbearers are Cody Trenum, Walker Trenum, Kevin Dye, Steve Garrett, Mike Tedder, and Richard McWilliams. Honorary pallbearers include Gil Trenum and Mark Shuffield. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, they ask for memorial contributions to the Katrina Dye Missions Memorial Fund at Crossgate Church or to her nephew's memorial fund, the Austin Trenum Memorial Fund, P.O.
