Mable Delores Blackman

Mable Tucker Blackman of Little Rock, Ark., passed peacefully on June 13, 2015. Her husband, Charles Blackman, Sr.; one daughter, Robbie Bridges; both parents, John Tucker and Pauline Mixon; and 11 siblings preceded her in death. She has been a member of Gaines Street Baptist Church for the past 50 years and was actively involved until her health began to fail. She worked at Arkansas Children's Hospital for over 50 years and finally retired at the age of 92. She leaves to celebrate her life Dr. Bonnie Hatchett, Charles Blackman, Jr., and Hosea Blackman all of Little Rock, Ark.; 17 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and special friends. Home going services will be on Friday, June 19, 2015, 10 am, at Gaines Street Baptist Church, 1601 South Gaines Street, Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow at Little Rock National Cemetery.
