Adam Guthrie Jr.

Adam Guthrie Jr., 88, of Prescott, Ark., passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015, at his home. Adam was born November 30, 1926 in Prescott, Ark. to Adam Guthrie, Sr. and Louise Scott Guthrie. He was a member of the Prescott First United Methodist Church. He was a local business man for many years and will be missed by many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Chubby, and sister, Carolyn Stuart. He is survived by sons: Douglas Guthrie and Bruce Guthrie, daughter: Paula Dendy, all of Prescott; three granddaughters: Cara and Ronny Loe of Cabot, Ark., Melanie and Barrett Yates of Prescott and Lauren Guthrie of North Little Rock; two grandsons: Christopher and Kelsey Dendy and Ty Guthrie of Prescott; three great-granddaughters: Lily, Ava, and Ivy Loe of Cabot; and three great-grandsons: Maddux and Pierce Yates, Cooper Dendy all of Prescott. In keeping with Adam's wishes there will be no funeral services.
