Ethan Ray Davis

Ethan Ray Davis, age 15, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015. He came into our life on Nov. 4, 1999. Ray was a joy and a blessing. As a child, he had a beautiful ability to see the world in a happy and quirky way. He grew to enjoy playing chess and baseball before he found his passion in football and he excelled. Ray gave love, humor, and joy in his journey to his heavenly home. He was preceded in death by his mamaw, Marsha Stewart. Ray leaves behind to cherish his memories: parents, mother Lisa Lucas and stepfather chad Lucas; father, Bruce Davis; siblings, Krista Smith, Shelby Davis, Jacob Davis, Savannah Lucas and Sidney Lucas; grandfather, Mickey Ray Davis; grandparents, Patricia and Robert Hewett and Steve and Chris Lucas; aunts/uncles, Mickey Davis and family, Steve Hewett and family and Milarkia Walker and family. Ray touched so many lives and leaves behind many friends. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, September 7 at Highland Heights Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 8 at Highland Heights Baptist Church with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Bro. Brian Moore will be officiating.
