Ivon Smith

IVON SMITH, 86, of North Little Rock passed away Sept. 2, 2015. He retired from the United States Army after 23 years of service. His tour included the Korean Conflict, Vietnam and was assigned to various locations abroad and in the US. Ivon enjoyed John Wayne, his John Deere tractors and doing things "his way". His passion was his family. He will be forever in our hearts. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Smith; children, Elizabeth Davis (Howard), Wanda Smith, Cathy Graessle (Mark), Ivon Smith (Tracy) and Sendy Smith; five grandchildren, Tabatha Brickley, Sarah Elkins, Nikki Graessle, Jesse Smith and Susan Davis; five great-grandchildren, sister, Merlene Smith and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and six siblings. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116.
