Little Rock native NANCY MOSES EUBANKS died from complications of dementia on Aug. 26, 2015. A southern lady of immense grace, Nancy had kind words and a smile for everyone she met. Born to Lena Goodwin Moses and Colter Hamilton Moses on May 15, 1927. Nancy and her twin brother Ham, Jr. christened Carpenter Dam which formed Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs when they were four years old, one used a bottle of the Pacific Ocean and one used a bottle of the Atlantic Ocean. Nancy enjoyed a memorable childhood sharing summer trips to California with her twin brother, Ham. In her teen years she made many friends and great memories as both a camper and counselor at Camp Joyzelle in Monte Ne, Ark. Nancy followed her sisters to Sweet Briar College graduating in 1948. William Thomas Eubanks Sr. and Nancy married in 1951. During their 45 years of marriage Bill and Nancy and their children spent 13 wonderful years in Memphis where they made many life-long friends. The couple loved to travel with Ponte Vedra, Fla. and Europe as their favorite destinations. Nancy was an active volunteer with both the Junior League of Memphis and Little Rock. She also volunteered at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and at her church, Second Presbyterian. During the many years of her decline faithful friends surrounded Nancy with love and support. These relationships along with those of her family were of utmost importance to Nancy. She and her husband, Bill, always made time for their grandchildren. Delicious cheese grits and fudge pie along with countless games of Gin Rummy were part of what made overnight stays so special for each of them. Surviving Nancy are her daughter, Lindy Mitchell (Maury), son, Bill Eubanks (Fran), grandchildren, Maury Mitchell III (Shadi), Hamilton Mitchell (Laura), Nancy Mitchell Cash (Aaron), Will Eubanks (Kerrie), Helen Eubanks Bartel (Chad), Janette Eubanks Stanford (Nick), Hamilton Eubanks Jr., sister-in-law, Donna Moses, several great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews. Nancy is predeceased by husband, Bill, sisters, Mary Lindsey and Frances Bransford, twin brother, Hamilton Moses Jr. and son, Hamilton Eubanks Sr. A graveside service officiated by Reverend Karen Aiken will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park Saturday, September 12 at 10 a.m. A gathering for family and friends will be the next day, Sunday, September 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. at 1815 North Tyler Street, Little Rock, Ark.
