Nancy Claire Bogy Graham, 81, passed away September 5th, 2015. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy Duff Bogy and Jesse Core Bogy, by her husband of 46 years, Jack L. Graham, and by her youngest sister, Sara "Sally" Ann Bonnett. Born in Wabbaseka, Arkansas, she graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1951, after which she briefly attended the University of Arkansas where she met Jack. Nancy was the hostess of epic "Christmas Eve"-Eve parties every December 23rd. She had a special repertoire of recipes passed down from her Mother Dorothy. All of those invited to the party went home with tins of homemade treats that Nancy worked on for weeks prior to the celebration. The Doubleday, Davis, and Ensminger children were among the party guests. They eagerly awaited the event with almost as much excitement as Christmas itself. After Nancy and Jack married in October 1953, she worked in Governor Faubus's office from 1959 until he left office in 1967. After that she worked in the Student Loan Guarantee Foundation office until she retired in 1998. Nancy is survived by her sister Barbara Thomas Lemmon (Mark); her brother, David B. Bogy (Patricia); her nieces, Laura Bonnett-Lohr (Robert), Jennifer Parker (Shawn), Rebecca Bogy Pringle (Wall), Susan Nicole Blanco, Sophie Geidt and Jennifer Holmwood (Michael) and nephew Michael Thomas as well as her grand-nieces Josephine Holmwood, Grace Lohr, Claire Pringle, Cassie Pringle, Noelle and Sara Parker; and her grand-nephews, William Calder (Cal) Blanco, William Holmwood and Max and Baz Thomas. Nancy is also survived by her adopted Little Rock family, Patricia Doubleday and her children, Leslie Heizman (Eric), Lisa Doubleday, Robert Doubleday, Jr. (Peri), and John Doubleday (Shelly). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Nancy's memory to Heifer International, 225 Keightly Drive, Little Rock, Ark. 72207. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 at Roselawn Memorial Park, 2801 Asher Ave. in Little Rock at 2 p.m. Services are under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home.
