Tomilee Linder Lundy, 82, a lifetime resident of Benton County, died Thursday, September 24 at her home in Rogers. Tomilee was born May 26, 1933 in Elm Springs to Thomas F. Lindner and Flossie O'Neal Lindner. A 1951 graduate of Bentonville High School, she married Benny Lundy on August 22, 1957. Tomi and Benny made their home in Rogers where she worked as a telephone operator and later as a school cook at Northside Elementary and Oakdale Junior High where she retired after twenty-five years. Tomilee and Benny have been cherished members of First Baptist Church of Rogers for over forty years and were instrumental in the bus ministry, youth programs and Saints Alive Choir. She enjoyed cooking, geneology and quilting. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Neva Smith and brothers, Paul and Silas Lindner. Survivors are her husband of 58 years, Benny of the home; three children, Lee Ann Burton and husband Mike of Springdale, Mark Lundy and wife Karen of Rogers and Nancy Evans and husband Jerrall of Ponca City, Okla.; six grandchildren, Ben, Ellen and Erin Lundy, Abby and Bridgette Burton and Joshua Evans; one great-grandchild, Benjamin Coy Lundy and many dear nieces and nephews. Service is set for 2 p.m. Monday, September 28 of First Baptist Church in Rogers on 8th and Olive. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, September 27 at the church on 8th and Olive. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Children's Ministry, 3364 W.
