Winnifred Ann Bennett, 81, of Cabot, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016. She was born July 9, 1934 to the late Ezra and Lilith Pratt of Judsonia. She is survived by her husband, Jim Bennett; daughter, Sharon Euler (Calvin) of Cabot; and sons, Mark Bennett (Patti) of Little Rock and Larry Bennett (Karen) of Carrollton Texas; sister, Theresa Yandel of Cabot; as well as eight grandchildren: Matthew Euler, Jonathan Euler, Melissa Euler Bishop, Kyle Bennett, Ashley Bennett, Caitlin Bennett, Elizabeth Bennett, and Andrew Bennett. She is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. She was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan, longstanding bridge player and devoted wife of 63 years to Jim. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Cabot and served as a Sunday School teacher there for many years. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, traveling, and quilting. A valedictorian graduate of Judsonia High School, she worked for many years at Templeton's IGA store in Cabot and afterwards worked as a teller for Bank of Cabot until she retired. She enjoyed fellowship at First United Methodist Church of Jacksonville in her latter years. The family wants to acknowledge Greystone Nursing Home for their service and love shown to our mom. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday at First Baptist Church, Cabot with Dr. Del Medlin officiating.
