Nancy Young DeShazo

Nancy Young DeShazo, beloved Mom, Nana, Sister, Sister-In-law, Aunt & Friend passed away April 4, 2016. She was born in Springdale, Arkansas on October 24, 1938, the daughter of, Ross & Ina Watson Young. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Neal DeShazo, Jr. Survivors include her two sons, Jeffrey Ross Curtis (Theresa) of Frisco, Texas and Mark Alan Curtis (Kathy) of Arlington, Texas; five grandchildren: Ashely, Ross, Avery, Gavin & Allie Curtis; sister & brother-in-law, Joyce & Jim Thrash; nephews, Steve (Whitney), Greg (Janelle) and Tim (Debbie) and five grandnieces & grandnephews. She liked to play bridge, bake cookies and be with family & friends. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday April 6, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, 403 S. Main St. Duncanville, Texas 75116. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, American Heart Association or the Lymphoma-Leukemia Society.
