BILL BURTON WESTFALL, age 81, of Little Rock, Ark., went to be with his Lord on Friday, April 8, 2016. Bill was born on Aug. 5, 1934 in Hot Springs, Ark. to James Alvin and Pearl Westfall. Bill was a devoted husband to Joyce Ramsey Williamson for 26 years, a loving father, and a wonderful Christian example to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill served in the Army and retired from Baptist Medical Center as Director of Linen Services. Through the years, he served his Lord as an ordained deacon, Sunday School teacher, and youth sponsor. For the past 26 years, he was an active member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. Bill enjoyed mission trips and working with disaster relief programs. His joys were traveling and spending time with his family and friends. His other interests included ham radio, singing with the Traveler's Quartet, and camping with the Good Sam's Club. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce of Little Rock; his children: DeAnn (Larry) Tate of Little Rock; Nicki (Phil) Morgan of Abilene, Texas; Russell (Laurie) Williamson of Maumelle; and Karen (Bob) McDaniels of Benton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jimmy Westfall; his sisters, Dorothy Hand and Margie Austin; and his first wife, Bessie Gillham Westfall. Visitation will be held at Little Rock Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 12 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church in Little Rock on Wednesday, April 13 at 1:30 p.m.; followed by interment at Memorial Gardens, in Hot Springs.
