FRANK A. GERARD, 83, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elaine; sons, Brian and Andrew; daughters, Renee and Melissa; grandchildren, Logan and Hunter; brothers, Joe and Gil and numerous fellow friends of Bill W., who he knew over thirty years. Born and raised in Little Rock, Frank was Valedictorian of his class at Catholic High School. From there he went on to study at the University of Notre Dame and Little Rock University. After college, he served three years in the Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Sergeant before being Honorably Discharged shortly after the Korean War. Most of his career was spent as a computer programmer, but he retired from UAMS, where he worked for Women and Children in Recovery. A Rosary Service will be held at Griffen Leggett Funeral Home, 5800 W 12th Street in Little Rock, Tues., April 12 at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at Holy Souls Catholic Church, 1003 N Tyler, Little Rock at 11 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to The Wolfe Street Foundation or Catholic High School for Boys.
