Osceola Angenetta Bowers

Osceola Angenetta (Net) Bowers, 66, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016, at Arkansas Heart Hospital. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on June 11, 1950, to the late William and Georgia Daniels. Net graduated from Metropolitan Vocational High School in 1967. She attended Arkansas A.M.& N for two years before marrying the late Johnny Bowers Sr. on September 27, 1968. Net is survived by four children; Lana Alford (Adrian), Johnny Bowers Jr. (Syrna), Randall Bowers of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and Dorothy Wilson (John) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy Daniels, of Little Rock Arkansas and Elizabeth Daniels Jackson of Birmingham, Alabama and one brother, Wilber Daniels of Warren, Michigan. A viewing will be held at Watson Northwest Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the family hour will be held from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. The funeral will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 19 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
