Steve Corley

Steve Corley of Boca Raton died January 18, 2016. He was born on July 2, 1947 to Dr. Glenn P. Corley and Nina Louise Pate Corley of Gravette. Survivors include his brother, Mark Corley of Fayetteville, sister, Ellen Corley and husband David Malm of Jasper, nephew, Daniel Malm of Little Rock, niece Kathleen Marleneanu of Maumelle and cousins, Jan Buck of Rogers and Judy Bucklelew of Raleigh, N.C. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Matthew Corley Malm. Steve was valedictorian of his Gravette High School class. After attending the University of Arkansas he worked in pipeline construction. He later moved to southern Florida where he developed an expertise in water filtration. Steve was most recently employed by H2O International as plant manager and salesman. He enjoyed canoeing and saltwater fishing. He was a hot-rodder and all around car guy. In his younger years he participated in many drag races, organized and impromptu. Steve had a sharp intellect and a quick sense of humor. He was a rebel and held a irreverence for authority. He like children and children liked him. Steve was a gentle soul and will be missed.
