CHARLES DANNY WARMAN departed this life on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the age of 65, following a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born on Jan. 30, 1950 in Little Rock, the son of Hutto Warman and Flora Howard Warman. He was preceded in death by his parents and three nephews: James Morehart, Larry Morehart and Cole Warman. Dan graduated from McClellan High School and attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. His career spanned many years as a photographer and writer at North Little Rock Times, The Daily Reader, Campus Bulletin at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. He won numerous awards from the Arkansas Press Association until he was forced into retirement with illness. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Curt and Wanda Warman of Mount Ida; one sister, Mildred Morehart of Jonesboro; one uncle, Richard Howard and his wife, Martha of Benton; one nephew, Chris Warman and his wife, Teresia of Mount Ida; one niece, Sandra Spears and her husband, Gary of Jonesboro; his great niece, Amber Warman; and his great nephew, Cody Warman. The Warman family would like to extend its deepest gratitude to the staff of Arbor Oaks Healthcare in Malvern for the care they gave Danny for many years.
