Joseph Thomas Burleson

Joseph Thomas Burleson, of Little Rock passed away January 3rd, 2016. He was born September 16, 1938 in Nashville, Arkansas to the late Clinton H. and Martha Adams Burleson. Joe grew up in Gurdon and attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. He served in the U.S. Air Force and later sold Insurance for New York Life. Joe was a member of St. James UMC in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his brother Clint Burleson and sister Carolyn Staggs. Joe is survived by his daughter Tammy Hurwitz and grandson Sloan Hurwitz, both of Nashville, Tenn. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 9th at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., officiated by Rev. Siegfried Johnson.
