Douglas Edwin Edwards

Reverend Douglas "Dee" Edwin Edwards III died January 3rd in North Little Rock at age 60. Dee is survived by wife, Rev. Jan (Tisdale) of Gillett, daughters Elizabeth (Chuck) of Fayetteville and Sara (Chris) of Maumelle, brother Jim (Elaine) and nieces Jamie (Matt) and Emily of NLR. He is preceded in death by his parents Douglas and Clara (Dunning) of NLR. Dee was born January 8, 1955 in Starkville, Miss. He graduated from Northeast High 1973, Hendrix College 1977, and Candler School of Theology 1984. He married Jan in 1980 and served as a United Methodist pastor 1978-2010.
