Charles W. McKamy

Charles W. McKamy, age 92, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016. He was born March 12, 1923 in Searcy, Arkansas, a son of Elmer Neal McKamy and Josie Harrison McKamy. He was a pastor for over 60 years, Mason 32nd Degree, Kiwanis Club, and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Hill Creek. He is survived by his daughters, Leah (James) Sears of North Little Rock and Wanda (Ramon) Martar of Conway; daughter-in-law, Linda McKamy of Conway; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Viola McKamy; daughter, Joyce Harmon Bivens; son, Walter McKamy; and two brothers, James McKamy and Neal McKamy. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 9, at the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Russell and Bro. Michael Treat officiating. Burial will be at Mt.
