Malcom Wayne (Mack) Blann, 63, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on January 6, 2016, following a courageous fight with cancer. Mack was born in Hampton, Arkansas on November 15, 1952 to the late Mildred Faye Bounds Blann and Ralph Cleo Blann, both of Hampton, Arkansas. Mack is survived by one daughter, Courtney Michelle Blann of Denver, Colorado: three sisters, Sherryl Miller and husband Bill Miller of Little Rock, Arkansas; Peggy Powell of Little Rock, Arkansas; Terry Allgood and husband Doug Allgood of Enterprise, Alabama. Also surviving Mack are his nieces; Karen Whatley of Little Rock, Arkansas; Jenna White of Anchorage, Alaska; Tracy Stinson of Navarre, Florida and Dani Hardy of Enterprise, Alabama. His nephew Chad Miller of Little Rock, Arkansas. Great nieces Layne Coleman and Cassidy Miller of Little Rock, Arkansas and a great nephew Grayson White of Navarre, Florida. Mack had distinguished a 40 year career as a Realtor and member of the Arkansas Board of Realtors in Little Rock. Mack was co-owner and broker of the first Remax franchise in Little Rock, "Remax Affiliates Realty". Later, Mack opened and operated "Mack and Company Realtors" in Little Rock where he served the community with integrity and professionalism until the end of his career. Mack was a routine recipient to the Board of Realtors, "Million Dollar Club Award". Mack was a committed Christian and possessed a strong faith and love of the Lord. Mack's faith helped him through many obstacles in life and made him an excellent father, brother, son, and friend. Mack was a strong student of the bible and often quoted his favorite verse, Mark 12:30 "Love the Lord God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." Mack was a loving and devoted father to his daughter, Courtney whom he referred to as the greatest joy and accomplishment of his life. Mack was an avid hunter and fisherman with membership in Speer Hunting Club in Tinsman, Arkansas which he founded with his brother in law and long time friends. Mack's absence will be deeply felt by friends, and family who were greatly impacted by his work ethic, love of and concern for others, his sense of community and civic responsibility, his quick wit and humor, and his love and devotion to family and friends. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home at County Line and Highway 5, Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Donations may be made in Mack's name in lieu of flowers to Arkansas Rice Depot which was one of Mack's favorite charities. An online guestbook is available at griffinleggettforesthills.com.
