Anna Henry

Anna Lincoln Hart (Henry), 92, of Little Rock was born October 12, 1923 in Williford, Arkansas and passed away peacefully January 7, 2016 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Henderson Henry and Tobitha Viola Davis Henry, her sister, Hazel Henry, her brother Carmack Henry and her husband Robert B. "Bob" Hart. She is survived by her daughter, Roanne Motley and her husband Phillip of Little Rock, and her son, Frank Hart of Paron. Other survivors include her brother, James David Henry and his wife Elva of Conway, and her grandchildren Winston Motley, Megan Cullum (Greg), Michelle York (Chris), Nicholas Motley (Jaime) and four great-grandchildren. While at Draughons Business School in 1941, she answered the nation's call after Pearl Harbor to be a secretary in the War Department at the Pentagon. She joined Geyer Springs United Methodist Church in 1961. Some of her favorite hobbies were baking, quilting, plastic canvas cross stitch, and word search puzzles. Her family would like to thank Mary Livingston of A Helping Hand and Christy Jackson and the staff of Hospice Home Care for all of the love and care that they provided. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home 5800 West 12th Street in Little Rock from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Geyer Springs United Methodist.
