JUDY ALLISON HUPFER, age 92, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Jan. 21, 2016. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, James B. Allison and Rita Hankins Allison, her husband, James Hupfer, brother, James B. Allison Jr. and cousin Michael Johnson. She is survived by her nieces, Aletha Sneed and Dianne Stevens, and nephew, James B. Allison III (Jody) all of Little Rock; cousins, Mary Stuart (Mike) of Carlisle, and Sandra Johnson of Shreveport, La. Born in Jefferson County, Ark.s, Judy lived in Little Rock most of her life, graduating from Little Rock High School in 1940. She worked for the Red Cross in Port Angeles, Wash., during WW II. Upon her return home, she worked as an executive secretary for the Arkansas Homebuilders Association and Victor Business Machines; she also enjoyed her association with the Junior League of Little Rock. Judy was a long time member of Pulaski Heights Presbyterian Church. Known mostly to her family and friends as "Aunt Judy", she was a loving aunt, cousin, mentor and friend to many. She was a remarkable woman whose legacy will live on in the many lives she touched. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, at 1 p.m. at Pulaski Heights Presbyterian Church, 4401 Woodlawn, in Little Rock. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1 p.m. the same day in the narthex of the church. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander.
