V. Rufus Walker

V. Rufus Walker, age 62, born January 30, 1953, died January 25, 2016. He retired from the Paper Mill in Ashdown after 23 years. Survivors include Vanassa Walker of the home; children, Tobi Plantz, Jeremy Irvin, Allie Walker, and Taylor Walker of the home; stepchildren, Darin Bell and Kristian Buchanan; brothers, Ronnie Walker, Donnie Walker and Rickie Walker; sisters, Debbie Brotherton and Judy Pennington; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. and Mrs. James Walker and stepson Dayne Bell. Family and Friends visitation, 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Boyd Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, January 29 at New Testament Missionary Baptist Church. Committal Service will be held at 4 p.m. at Old Piney Cemetery in Lockesburg, Arkansas.
