GEORGE S. KHAMOU, 71 of North Little Rock, passed away July 27, 2016. He was born March 10, 1945 in Bagdad, Iraq to the late Shimon and Hermina Zerwanda Khamou. George was involved with the Mirana Middle Eastern Dance Company for many years. In the 1970's George's family owned Eat Your Heart Out on Main Street, where Mirana and her daughter, Barbara would do Middle Eastern Dancing. He helped David Martinous organize the Ceders of Lebanon of Little Rock Club. George also had on Comcast TV at one time the Voice of the Middle East Program. He was a journalist by trade and owned American Printing Company. George is survived by his son, Milad George Amirkhan and family of Lebanon, brothers, Simon, Phillip, Johnny and Sam Khamou, sister, Leila Brikha, three grandchildren and a special friend, Jessika Taylor. Church services at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016 with Father YC officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
