Melinda K. Brown Post

MELINDA K. BROWN POST, 45, of Little Rock, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016, at her home. Melinda was born Aug. 23, 1970, in Little Rock, to Joe E. Brown and Jean Mills. She grew up in Pine Bluff, where she graduated from Dollarway High School in 1988. She married Mark A. Post on Nov. 20, 2003, in Little Rock. Melinda was a homemaker and co-owner of Post Custom Stairways in Little Rock. She was a member of That Church. Melinda is survived by her husband, Mark A. Post of Little Rock; her son, Dylan Braswell of Little Rock; her mother, Jean (Terry) Mills of Heber Springs; father, Joe E. (Debra) Brown III of North Little Rock; sister, Erin (Sunny) Rekow of Benton; and a niece, Jordin Rekow of Benton. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Schuyler Gates and her grandparents, Joe and Marilyn Brown and Lester and Jennie May. A visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, 11 a.,m. at Shell-Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Al Graham officiating.
