Margaret Johnson Hill

Margaret J. Hill, 101, of Little Rock transitioned from earth to glory at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary, May 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Deacon Johnnie Hill. To cherish her memory she leaves two daughters: Rosalyn Scruggs (George), Nancy McGill both of Little Rock; three sons, Rev. Johnny Hill (Virginia)of Little Rock, Kenneth Hill (Bertha) and George Hill both of Wichita, KS; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Also included are her best friend, Edna Gibson, her church family, former Pastor Dr. C. Ramont Morris and many long time associates of the Union District Baptist Association. On Friday June 3, 2016 at Greater 3-4 Missionary Baptist Church, located at 911 West 19th St. (formerly Rightsell Elementary School), both the viewing and home going services will be held. The viewing will be at 9 a.m. immediately followed by home going at 10 a.m. Services entrusted to Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., Little Rock AR 72202. Interment immediately following at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery, 1501 Maryland, Sherwood, Ark. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made payable to the Margaret J. Hill Scholarship Fund.
