William Morris Hale 90 of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016. He was born in North Little Rock, January 4, 1926 to the late Morris and Ethel Hale, and was the oldest of 10 children. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean, and three brothers Doug, Raymond and Bill. Willie was a member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church. He retired from AP&L after 39 years of service. He is a World War II veteran, a 32nd degree Mason, and a Shriner. Willie will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his son Morris Craig Hale (Judy) of Sherwood; two grandchildren; Craig Hale and Reverend Kevin Hale (Annie); six great-grandchildren, Denver, Ryder, Schaeffer, Pyper, Thatcher, and Hunter Hale. He is also survived by a brother, Cliff Hale, and five sisters, Frances Bratton, Pat Nunes, Vivian Stoffer, Virginia Berry, and Doris Roberts. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Gardner United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer St., North Little Rock, Ark. 72114, with burial to follow at Edgewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., on Wednesday at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. (501-791-7400).
