Ethel Lee Pippen

Mrs. Ethel Lee Pippen, 92 of Hamburg, Ark. passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark. She was a native of Jones, La., a homemaker, and a member of the Soldiers Chapel A.M.E Church. She is preceded in death by her husband: Preston Clyde Pippen; one daughter: Dorothy Rena Pippen; and her parents: Walter and Emma Williams-Harris. Mrs. Pippen was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She is survived by six sons: Billy Clyde Pippen, Ronnie Pippen, and Jimmy Pippen all of Hamburg, Ark.; Carl Pippen of Houston, Texas; Donald Pippen of Wilmar, Ark.; and Scottie Pippen of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; five daughters: Barbara Kendricks of Chicago, Ill.; Sharon Pippen of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Faye Tucker, Raye Robinson, and Kimberly Pippen all of Hamburg, Ark.; one sister: Dorothy Newson of Los Angeles, Calif.; special childhood friend: Ruby Norris of Bastrop, La.; 28 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of family, friends, and loved ones. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Gwain Hammock and Rev. O. Jerome Green, officiating. Visitation Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
