Captola McGhee Swaim

On the evening of March 17, 2016, CAPTOLA MCGHEE SWAIM, age 96, passed away peacefully. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Swaim. Captola is survived by her two daughters, Peggy Burchfield (Bob) and Barbara Sanford (Ronnie) and three sons, Bob McGhee (Carol), Raymond McGhee (Janie), and Dwight McGhee. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Since Captola grew up in The Methodist Children's Home, her family was of the utmost importance to her. Nothing made her happier than to be surrounded by her extended family on holidays and special occasions. She loved music, working in her garden, and enjoyed participating in church activities at the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS in Otter Creek, where she was a longtime member. Visitation will be at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211, (501) 224-8300 at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2016, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at the same location.
