Bonnie Faye Simpson Polk

Bonnie Faye Simpson Polk, age 77, of 116 Holly Court, Bostic, died, Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the Hospice House of Forest City. A native of Russellville, Ark., she was a daughter of the late Thomas Simpson and Thelma Ratliff Simpson, a former physical education teacher in the Little Rock, Ark., public schools and graduate of the University of Arkansas. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and adoring grandmother. Survivors include her husband James "Jim" E. Polk, a daughter, Jamie Fox and her husband, Reverend Chris Fox of Forest City, two granddaughters, Madyson Paige and Hannah Grace Fox of Forest City. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2016, at at the Shinn Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Chris Fox officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.
