Evelyn Marvin

EVELYN MARVIN, 97, of Little Rock was born April 22, 1919 in Little Rock to the late James Keck and Minnie Lee Darden Keck. She went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 at Woodland Heights Nursing Home. She was a loving wife and mother. She loved animals and had a green thumb. She enjoyed gardening and working outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Marvin and her son John M. Marvin as well as her brother James "Bud" Keck. She is survived by her son James J. Marvin of Little Rock had his wife Florence as well as a brother in law James L. Marvin and his family of Littleton, Colo. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Little Rock. Special thanks to the care team of Woodland Heights and to Arkansas Hospice for all of their loving care, also very special thanks to Rev. James Walter for 20 years of ministry to Evelyn. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Nov. 21, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander with Rev. James C. Walter officiating.
