Betty Lee Coates

Betty Lee Cogbill Coates, 92, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord August 29, 2016. She was born on October 15, 1923 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Oscar and Kathleen Cogbill. Betty enjoyed being a member of Parkway Place Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, Granny and Great Granny. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Lawton Buddy Coates, and five siblings. She is survived by her children; Bob Coates (Judy), Beverly Wright (Steve), grandchildren; Bradley Wright (Jill), Sarah Gilmore (Travis), Amy Coates, Anna Coates, great-grandchildren; Beckett Wright, Lucille Wright, Lawton Wright, Taylor Gilmore, Peyton Gilmore, and Hayden Gilmore. The family would like to thank the staff of Nursing and Rehabilitation at Good Shepherd for the loving care they gave their mother at her time there. In Lieu of flowers the family request memorials be sent to Parkway Place Baptist Church Bus Transportation Ministry, 300 Parkway Place Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2016 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy. 5 N., Alexander, Arkansas.
